Great job guys! Twenty fished and EVERYBODY caught fish.

I was not going to be late for this tournament, I was first in line but the entry gate was closed and appeard locked, thanks to George the gate was not locked. When we couldn't get all the boats in the ramp, I went to the other ramp. Still managed to be last by running over a sandbar 3 times. I'll do better.

The February tournament was at White Oak Creek on the 6th.Water was cold and muddy.The wind didn't blow like they said it was. Few fish caught.

Our next meeting is at Thing and Wings on March 2nd,fishing on the 6th at Hardwick Creek on Lake Eufaula. The Spring two day is March 20th and 21st at Lake Mitchell.The club will pay for Saturday night. The motel is Guesthouse Inn,Clanton Al. 205-280-0306. We will need another head count of those who are going.

2010 January 9 Tournament

The new year has officially begun. The January meeting is now over and 2010 tournament rules and schedule have been approved.

The first tournament was Saturday, January 9th, with 7 boats, 14 fisherman participating. The temperature was a sultry 21 degrees at blast off with winds out of the north at 10-20 mph.

I didn't really hear of anybody being real cold, improvements in winter clothes and maybe we have finally learned how to dress for the weather. Hand and feet warmers have come a long way, even toe warmers (ask Larry).
